Help Dee Help Haiti

The earth quake in Haiti has really hit home, I found out that one of Paul’s dad’s good friends was killed in the earthquake and a very good friend of mine Dee is on her way to Haiti right now from Switzerland for disaster relief.I would love to have you join with me to support Dee while she is in Haiti as she is going there as a volunteer and relies 100% on friends and family to support her financially while she is on missions. Dee works with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) which is a Christian non-profit organization.

Let me give you a little back ground information on who Dee is and why I would like you to join with me to help her:

Dee and I meet while I was in Australia for DTS (Discipleship Training School) with YWAM. While being with YWAM Dee was my group leader. While being my group leader Dee and I grow close I think because of our love to laugh, play practical jokes and eat delicious chocolate. As a group we traveled from Australia to Brazil for our one month mission. In Brazil we traveled down the Amazon river working on a medicine boat meeting amazing people see some of the craziest things in my life like seeing a pink fresh water dolphin jumping out of the water near where the river meets the ocean and big televisions in small shakes that look like they will fall into the river at any moment.

After my time in Australia and Brazil Dee meet up with me a few years later while I was working in Mexico working with youth groups coming down to build houses for Mexican families living in poverty. Our times together are always rich in laughter and spiritual talks, Dee always challenged me to think outside of the box.

This year will be 9 years since I meet Dee and she is still the biggest women influence in my life next to my mother. The way Dee sees the best in everything no matter how bad it is, sometimes I feel like she sees the life as though they are cartoons because her energy, laughter and love for everything. Dee has an amazing look on life and is always willing and ready to help anyone in need. This is why I would love for you to join with me in supporting her financial while she is doing rescue relief in Haiti.

Below are her prayer requests as of right now for her trip:

Prayer request:

  • for the people in Haiti that are going through unbelievable pain, suffering and very challenging times
  • that the Disaster Relief organizations can get into the country…very challenging, since the airport are down as well….
  • for protection, wisdom, guidance, strength and love to serve these people
  • that through our actions we can be the hands and feet of our Creator!
