{my own boss}
well as some of you know i was laid off work last week. i have had some pity comments from people like my sister giving me her I don’t approve but i love you ‘If it makes you happy, then I’m happy.’ oh silly sister, some paths are not for everyone. but the truth is, i am happy. this is what i wanted. to be my own boss by my 27th birthday and well i am a few months ahead of the game. i have a financial plan going into this. i will be applying for grants to start up a business (design & screen printing) as this is much easier to get while you are unemployed BUT in the mean time my boyfriend and i are starting up a print & card shop on Etsy. {freakinawesomeprints.etsy.com}
but with this lay off it does not just benefit me but it benefits you the reader. somethings you can expect in February. a few more design additions to the blog. weekly artist/etsy shop shout out. thankful thursdays, and vintage fashion fridays will be back in full force {i have a lot of great ideas that involve a mans option on vintage fashion!} and i want to become a etsy treasury queen!
working from home is going to bring on some challenges but really i am going to get to sell vintage and art, i’m not to sure how much better it can get {oh and did I mention that my man works from home as well} to much random fun is going to happen now~
here is my latest treasury on etsy called ‘what you do when you lost your job’ some necessities to needed to have a great home office. show it some love!

thanks again for including the in/out basket in your treasury – let me know if you need it :)
and i can’t wait to see your new shop! yay!
Congratulations Crystal!
I wish you all the best in your new direction! Your enthusiasm is contagious! :)
