Oh Elk Me… I miss my sister.
I put together this treasury for my sister. Oh Elk Me… comes from a time when we were going to Wal-Mart and there was just a big group of people standing around. I said ‘oh elk me’ (because elk just stand around) and it stuck. Every time we are together and we get in this same situation ‘oh elk me’ comes out. I hope you enjoy!
Read on about my super awesome sister!

Well now that I have time to breath and write about what I like. I just wanted to give a little shout out to my amazing little sister who I miss so dearly (we live about 2,300 kms away from each other). Mandi is my best friend and even though we are two very different people we just manage to get along just right. This was not always the case, when we were younger we would fight like crazy (even drawing blood sometimes) but I think those hard years are partially what makes us so much stronger friends.

I miss our movie nights, random walks in the village taking pictures, shopping together as she would pick out outfits for me (she really is the stylish one out of the two of us!), our ugly laughs to make us laugh and of course our serious talks about life, love and the future.

We have this crazy connection that sometimes I feel is telepathic its insane. We will not tell each other what we are doing in the evening but we manage to do the same thing, bake the same thing or buy the same thing. Creepy sometimes.
I am so proud of my sister. She just got married in September and is an amazing wife to Marshall (he is one lucky guy!) She just started blogging and she is so dedicated to it and does some amazing posts on planning your wedding, recipes for baking & cooking and travel in 300 words or less.
I think everyone should know this amazing god fearing, super organized, loving, caring and fun lady! You can check out here blog here and her husband Marshall just starting up a blog as well about ‘real stories of things unjust in front of your face and giving you the opportunity to turn your hearts that “move” into hands that heal.’ You can check out his blog called Nothing Called Hope here.
Remember the ones that are closest to you because they will be there when no one else is.
