♥ over my price range birthday wish list ♥
I have to apologize for the almost week of no posts other then Fixing Up The Blog post, things have been a little busy over here with me sewing or trying to this dress for my birthday, getting the mini art collectable frames all ready to launch on Freakin Awesome Prints and well spending time with my love (Who just started blogging!!! You should really check out his stuff he is amazingly talented.)
With my birthday coming Saturday I thought it would be a great time to list my ‘over my price range birthday wish list’, which is also kind of a list of my financial savings goals as well.
To start off the list I need a new computer. I am embarrassed to say that I am a PC user. I hate them with a pretty big passion not only for them having a mind of its own, shutting down when your in the middle of a big photoshop session and the list goes on. So Mac Book Pro here I come because everyone deserves to work on a reliable computer.
After that beauty I think a nice camera in my hands would be wonderful! I would even settle for a Canon Rebel I just need something better then a point and shot for the shop and all the wonderful adventures Paul and I take.
I’ve been baking a lot more these days with having more time on my hands and well not as much stress. As you might of read before in my dreamy baking goods post I want a mixer. My little hands can only do so much in one day but I still want to keep baking! So one of these wonderful KitchenAid Mixers will do the trick! I choose red not only because it is the color of my kitchen but because it is so much more retro looking.

I am all about being comfortable, cute and not buying from China. My love and I joke around that my style is ‘C.F.C.’ Comfortable, Functional & Cute. So that is what I am sticking to and I think this beautiful dress from local Montreal designer Supayana fits right into my C.F.C. style. She really has beautiful designs and her fashions are all made with vintage or reclaimed threads which I am into a 100% supporter of.
With starting to sew some dresses I have realized that I am missing some key items in making this process easier and more professional and one of those is a dress form. So I am adding it to my wish list not only for sewing but it will be great shop photos. What do you like a model or a mannequin to look at while your shopping online?
Everyone needs a good read and with my new love for floral prints it brings me to Laura Ashley. Fun Fact: I worn her dresses throughout my childhood! Laura Ashley was not just a creator of wonderful garments but owner of a successful business with her husband Bernard. Now that is the kind of book I want to get my hands on.
Now what is a wish list without a pair of shoes? I have been eying these sweet woven wonders from Lisazain for some a few days now.
With my birthday just around the corner and a long road trip to my home town coming soon I thought it would be a great time to put on a spring sale in the shop.
So starting Thursday, April 1st to Sunday, April 4th I’m having a SHOP SALE!
10% OFF 1 item.
15% OFF 2 items.
20% OFF 3 or more items.
Sounds pretty sweet to me. This includes the sale section in my shop but does not include a discount on the shipping. All refunds will be given through PayPal after the payment is through.
Come take a peek now at some of the goodies in store for the sale.

Great great list! I am behind you on all of your wish list items!
As for the computer, I am typing this on my mac book pro and it was one of the best purchases I ever made! I can’t believe I used a desktop PC before this. Having said that – if you are seriously shopping for one, be sure to check out the refurbished macs in the apple shop. I got mine for about 800 dollars less than regular price and it was brand new. DO IT!
i just did a post of my want list too!! wow, again, we’re pretty much twins! YOU HAVE TO GET A MAC BOOK PRO. you are going to be so happy when you have that. i was almost anti-mac and then we got one (cause marsh wanted it) and now i love them. it took me some time to learn, and i still am, but it’s great.
