Fixing Up The Blog

{source Natalie Dee}

Alright so I am not that helpless but I do think it is time to fix a few things on this good old blog of mine since it has been well over a year now of blogging on it. I have gotten some questions/comments like “I love your blog but I can’t follow it. :(” and “I guess I will just have to remember to check your blog because I can’t follow it.”  I don’t like these comments because I want my blog to be fun for you to read and access without being cumbersome.   So this week I plan to  make changes to the blog like adding some widgets along the side like Google Friend Connect which I am told is how people can follow my blog if they do not have Google Reader.  Having links to my Twitter, Vintage Shop and Freakin Awesome Prints Shop along the side as well.

Would you like to see something on the site you do not see now?  It can be design wise, content wise, anything I just loving hearing from you guys.  To leave a comment/suggestion just click the little talk bubble at the top of the post.

I can’t wait to hear your improvements you would like to see.  No limits on this one guys :)

    I’d get rid of that really offensive cartoon at the top of your blog. A huge turn-off, at least for me.

    That comic is so funny! Love it! Maybe one of those “shop preview” links (for Etsy sellers) in the sidebar would be nice. Add some colour?

    Well if I were you I’d put more offensive stuff up on the blog, just for simple minded people to open up, might give them a reason to think. A few widgets will be great up there too.

    well i really like the color change to made, it looks a lot better this gray/white. i think your idea for widgets and maybe badges of people/blogs you like would be great. thats how i found a lot of the blogs i follow. but other all i like that it’s sleek and simple. oh, one more thing, your comments close after a while, so i can’t comment on something old. i don’t like that…. : )
