happy early birthday present to me
well yesterday was exactly a month away from my birthday and i thought to myself. i deserve an early birthday present this year. so with lots of searching for the perfect gift from me to me i found it, and what is it you may ask? i bought a japanese adult couture dress pattern book with 26 patterns for dresses, blouses, skirts, pants and jackets. i can’t wait to get it and start sewing some of my own pieces to wear. here is a peek at some of my favorites from the book.

well i hope this has inspired you to do something for you today. it doesn’t have to mean buy something for you but take the time to create something, read something beautiful and spend some time with someone you love.

what a great gift to yourself! i had a wonderful day spending time with a friend who is sadly (for me) moving away. but she’s going to have a great start to a new life in a brand new place, so that makes me happy :)
i thought mom and me were getting that for you? couldn’t wait to get it hey? that’s totally like you, and me for that matter… i love giving myself gifts!
